I Don’t Cry Over Yesterday

You are right not to cry. I never did either (I had four – 3 are now in college, the oldest is married and a new mama). I always enjoyed each stage, right up until they left – and THEN I cried!! For a year! LOL, when you love being a mama, you enjoy the stages and are excited with their milestones – including college and beyond. But with that comes the realization that your role has changed, and that is a tough transition, believe me. You’re still very valuable to your kids, but your life looks a lot different.
I enjoyed your post, because it seems like there is a lot of emphasis these days on crying and being sad when our little ones reach a new stage and I very much disagree with that. Thank you for the refreshing view! 🙂 Saw you on Coffee and Conversation Link Up!

A very good way of thinking. I definitely agree with this. I sometimes stand in amazement at how quickly time goes by but I will never be sad about the growth of my children. It’s a wonderful thing to get to see your kids grow! I found you on the A Little R&R Wednesdays link up. Thank you for sharing!
